Namaste beautiful souls. The pandemic has been a really challenging time for so many businesses and we were heavily impacted as our operations were solely on-ground. This is why we have recently migrated all our classes to an online platform to continue to serve you without any real limitations in a borderless world. Nevertheless, we miss our in-person sessions too but with limited space and social distancing regulations, we need to operate within a ‘new normal’.

REDUCED OPERATING HOURS
OhanaJo used to serve more than 100 classes per month. We will now only be serving only signature sessions of 35+ classes per month to allow for thorough cleaning, sanitisation, new operating SOPs and to adhere to new health and safety guidelines.

LIMITED CAPACITY
OhanaJo used to be able to accommodate 40-55 pax for static talks, presentations, and meditative gatherings on one floor alone. We will now be serving only about 20 pax in our main studio upstairs. However, OhanaJo occupies a spacious premise across 2 entire floors in a corner shoplot within a safe, residential neighbourhood with free parking. So fortunately, there is always loads of space for people waiting in between classes as there is an entire floor beneath OhanaJo where our charming café and shop is located.

NO MORE ON GROUND UNLIMITED MEMBERSHIPS
We will not be selling any Unlimited Class Memberships On Ground though we would absolutely love to, but we cannot guarantee your mat space due to social distancing regulations and reduced number of classes and spots. Anyone can drop-in and pay as you go with complete flexibility but we provide special drop-in prices for members and also the option to purchase class packs to enable physical classes to be more affordable during this challenging period.

ON-GROUND AFFECTED MEMBERS CAN RE-PURPOSE UNUSED CREDITS:

1. Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes in advance for relevant temperature screening and class registration process.

2. Please pre-book all your classes before arrival on www.ohanajo.com. 

3. ALL students are required to sanitise their hands upon entry and exit and face masks should be worn upon arrival before your class and upon your exit.

4. We recommend you bring your own yoga mat (we have brand new yoga mats and bolsters for sale if you need it), eye cushions, and blankets for your sound healing sessions as our air cons will be on in the studio (but you can also rent a blanket from us for only RM5, freshly laundered for one-time use and sealed in plastic). 

5. Mat spaces will be pre-arranged to keep to the social distancing regulations in place. If there are no mats on the ground for your scheduled class, we will mark “X” on the floor so you will easily be able to identify the areas to avoid placing your mat so we can precisely follow the right social distance in place between mats/meditation cushions. 

6. We have bathrooms well stocked with liquid soap for washing your hands on both floors and several sanitising stations for you to be able to have easy access to hand sanitisers to clean your hands before, during or after your session.

7. We sell homemade cloth face masks made with premium 100% cotton which are machine washable should you want to make a more eco-friendly switch away from wearing disposable face masks every day. 

8. We regularly burn pure essential oils including space clearing items throughout OhanaJo such as Palo Santo aromatic wood incense and Sage which does not just cleanse auric fields and spaces, but it also helps to kill bacteria in the air.

9. If you have any flu-like symptoms, please do not risk coming out. Be responsible and stay at home.

10. We would encourage no hugging before or after class which is one of the hardest things on the list for us to follow at OhanaJo because this aspect of connection with our students and affectionate team members has always come so naturally to us, but for everyone’s safety, let us try to simply ‘namaste’ each other instead with a heartwarming smile.
